The Samsung team developed a whole family of devices under the Galaxy name, but not all of them are phones, some of them are tablet, called Tabs. At the same time, some of them, regardless of their type haven't yet been released, or haven't even been announced their status being rumored. There are maybe quite a few devices that have been canceled from production; however the number of Galaxy products counted right now is of over 50, check out this page.

Most of the devices in the Galaxy line will remind the clients of the iPhones and iPads made by Apple, but only in appearance, and there are some exceptions, see above. All of the devices have a touchscreen as well as a full QWERTY keyboard: either a virtual one either a sliding one.

The good parts about the whole line are:
* available products for more types of needs
* products with various screen types and sizes to appeal to more people, especially to those who pay attention to the screen's specs
* products that work on more networks: GSM and HSDPA, CDMA, and combinations, as well as 2G and 3G, or none at all.
* items with various camera features, so those interested in taking the best pictures, need to pay more attention to this feature.
As you can see it is pretty easy to find that special Samsung Galaxy device which will fit your needs or preferences. After you finish reading the specs for all of them, you can better decide which one you want to own. If you are interested in the ones that are supposed to appear soon, then of course you still need to wait. For the ones already released, you need to find a seller and then be prepared to pay for it.
