Nokia 1112 Phone Review

Mobile Phone 3 On June - 7 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

The times when a phone was just that are long time gone, but phones like that are still being released. However the Nokia 1112 is not a recent release, it’s a release of the year 2006, which means it got discontinued. This means that you can still see it sold only in on-line stores, such as this one. Nowadays the phones that are supposed to only be used as phones have at least a color display, not like this monochrome one. However the battery was lasting about 400 hours on one charge, which was a good thing.

As for the applications meant to keep you entertained, there  were three games, including the ever popular Snake Xenzia, along with the Dice Games and Pocket Carrom. And how could we forget the (still) ever so popular support for most of the European languages as well as for some of the Asian ones? This was a pretty handy feature when you wanted to play a joke on a friend.

The Nokia team thought about releasing this mobile phone in these colors: black, blue and red, in order to fit with more personalities.

There is a major question which hasn’t been answered yet: how did one keep in touch with their friends and what not? Obviously by calling one of your 200 buddies saved in the contact list in the phone´s memory, or another 250 of them saved on the SIM card, or by sending them text messages (SMS) or multimedia ones (MMS).

Enough is enough, so if you want to know more about the phone, or if you are really curious about what people think of it, this page has many different thoughts coming from all over the world. Be warned though, that you might find them contradictory at some point, since not everybody can think the same way.

Nokia 2300 Review

As a girl, you probably love cute and colorful items, even when it comes to gadgets, that is why Nokia 2300 was created. Not only the colors (white, pink and purple) make this device a girlie item, but also the shape of the keys: butterflies. But sadly you might be out of luck next time you go shopping because this is a pretty old mobile phone: it was released back in 2003. There is also a more manly or professional looking version of this phone, colored grey -second picture-. However if you want to try your luck out, then this webpage will tell you even more details on it, than this article.

The mobile phones of that time had very few and pretty useful -at least for some- features: support for most of the European and Asian languages, Xpress on covers (for added personality) and especially for the Nokia mobiles the game Snakes. This Nokia 2300 has these 3 games installed: Snakes II, Opposite and Space Impact +, pretty much to keep you busy for some time.

The 96 by 65 pixels screen could only display 5 lines at a time and as seen above it was a monochrome graphic type of display. There was no browser installed on it, only text messages (SMS) and messages with a picture attached. The picture or image we should be thinking about was one that was already put in the phone’s memory, and not one that one took with the phone or downloaded from somewhere.

But one could indeed download  ringtones, either monophonic, either polyphonic. You could also compose you own monophonic rintones if you had some sort of musical feeling.

The last thing mentioned or showed to you in this article will be the opinions of those who put their hands on it, as well as of those who still can use it.

Nokia 1112 Review

Mobile Phone 3 On May - 16 - 2011ADD COMMENTS

Nokia 1112 it was recently released, in 2006, but it has been discontinued. As wikipedia mentions, it was intended for those who are just starting to use a mobile phone, because of the simple graphics and little number of functions. The page linked is listing most -if not all- of the ringtones that can be found on this Nokia model. One could not store more than 40 ringtones for this model, but they are more than enough to make the phone ring differently when somebody tries to reach you.

However, the ringtones were not everything that there was on this phone. Nokia 1112 had a pretty large storage memory for the contacts, as it could hold 200 of them. It could also remember the last 30 contacted people: 10 for the received calls, 10 missed calls as well as 10 dialed numbers. If one wanted to send messages, they only had 2 options available: SMS and EMS. The 3 games installed on it should make up for the missing radio feature and the games are: Dice Games, Pocket Carrom and the ever (still) so popular Snake (version) Xenzia.

In the picture above we can see how the battery was looking like, as well as the place it has inside the phone. One can’t decide about buying a phone without knowing what others have to say.  And if you want to try and get it, then this page still has 2 of them to sell. Of course, you might also need some accessories, available from here.
