The Samsung Galaxy 5 i5503 has 3 different names to go by: Samsung Galaxy Europa, Samsung i5500 Corby Smartphone and even Samsung Galaxy 550. And since this is yet another smartphone from Samsung, let's take a look at it, so that we get an idea about it. This phone is still a touchscreen one, and its screen is only 2.8 inches big. Which actually means it's quite a small one, and you might be comfortable enough working with it.

And because it was mentioned this is a smartphone, you need to know what OS is running on; you've got the Android 2.1 which can be updated to the 2.2 version, with Kies. It isn't sure just how much RAM there is on it, or even if there is any, but the internal “memory” is of 170MB. Of course this can't be enough for anybody, that is why you can use a memory card of up to 16GB, and you receive one of 1GB when you buy the phone.

The networks used for communication are 2G, 3G, GSM, HSDPA, GPRS Class 10+ and the EDGE Class 10+, plus one can transfer data with other devices by Bluetooth, WiFi and USB. All of these should be enough to impress many of the readers.

But these aren't all of the features or functions of this cell phone. What should also be mentioned is the 2MP camera with smile detection and geo-tagging features. You can have more entertainment on this phone, other than the music and video players, or radio. While it doesn't actually have installed games, you can download from the Android Market and for many you don't even have to pay. Buy you might have to register with an account. Maybe the last thing you need to know about this cell phone is the fact that it belongs in the lower price range, so more people can afford it.
